Hi! I'm Dillon.
I am a genderqueer, multi-hyphenate artist and portrait photographer based in New York City / Lenapehoking. My pronouns are they/them.
My training and background are in performance (I have an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco), so my approach to photography is based in human storytelling. The guiding principle of my portraiture project is helping my subjects feel comfortable, present, and fully themselves in front of the camera so that what we capture together is an authentic expression of who they are. I know how vulnerable it can feel to be photographed, so I am on a personal mission to make my shoots as collaborative, full of breath, and fun as possible! I shoot headshots and portraits under both studio and natural light in Industry City, Brooklyn, and on location as needed.
Take a look around my site to see the different photography services I offer, and please reach out if you're interested in working together! I am as eager to collaborate on creative / experimental portraiture as I am on good, ol'-fashioned headshots. I get especially excited to collaborate with fellow queer / artsy / gender expansive / neurospicy folk.
You will also find tidbits of my other creative endeavors, professional affiliations, and more. Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope to hear from you soon!
